The 6 bands you’ll see are:
PHILLIOUS WILLIAMS: They’re fuckin fantastic. They play heavy western, kinda
untraditional Mexican ballads with a 50’s crooner/motorcycle edge.
THE SEASIDERS are a wicked mockney
cockney nostalgic postmodern folk band. They play a ramshackle piano based
madness boasting sea shanty tales with an underlying honesty.
SHIFTY STRANGERS are cool; they play a fast paced melodic live
set. Their music sits somewhere between all of their collective influences.
From Nirvana to Libertines. From Queens of the Stone Age to Johnny Cash.
FOREIGN LEGION have a strong indie sound.
They’re a really tight band, which bang out really cool and catchy tunes. The
drummer’s wicked, the bass player very experimental and the lead vocals are not
your average. Together they’re fucking on top form and worth seeing!
Son OF Buff are bloody brilliant. Playing
some loud dirty garage rock n roll, they’re right up my street and I’m sure
will be up yours. Not even gonna bang on about how cool they are, you’d be
crazy to miss em!
Tuppeny Bunters- A Piano/Hammond organ
driven band with furiously loud banging drums. The duo currently bang out a few
60’s TV theme tunes such as The Avengers, Round The Horne, Pop Goes The Weasel,
their original tunes mixture of punk/garage prog…You can’t really put your
finger on what it is, but you ain’t gonna be disappointed.
