** FOURTH NIGHT, SAME THIRST FOR DANGER! **
** CLUB FANDANGO AND KILIMANJARO TEAM UP… **
** …TO CLIMB ANY MOUNTAIN!! **

MIRRORS (onstage 10.00pm) live in Brighton and make lovely warm hearted synth pop with
touches of early Depeche Mode and prime time OMD, as evinced by their two single releases
thus far on Too Pure and Moshi Moshi. Happily, MIRRORS are headlining this here fourth
instalment of RANGE LIFE, the modern monthly gigging venture which sees indie chimps
Club Fandango join forces with the promoting pros at Kilimanjaro to sprinkle a little bit of
new band magic over midweek Hoxton Square on the very first Wednesday of every month.
Ain’t no mountain high enough? You’ve got it.

SWIMMING (onstage 9.15pm) are from Nottingham and make ripped-up tripped-out cosmic
pop epics which nod at the concept-bending world of Warp Records while delivering the sort
of sun-blasting outbursts which would make Dave Fridmann weep tears of joy. Throw in a
crack new management team and a cracking new album and this quintet is reaching for the
stars in more ways than one.

FILMS OF COLOUR (onstage 8.30pm) are from Guildford and make urgent, bright-eyed
indie-ish pop rock with a sweet demeanour and the odd killer chorus, notably on ‘Action’.
There is talk of a Label Fandango release in late September, which is the kind of talk we like.
