Threshold.fm presents Untangling Mental Health In Music

High Rankin and threshold.fm host a series of 3 live podcasts with Superculture focussed on trying to untangle mental health in the riddle of music industry mental health.

People are dropping out of the music industry at an alarming rate. With high profile artists like Deadmau5 and Hardwell signing off indefinitely and the recent death of Avicci by suicide it’s time we took a serious look are how the music industry is effecting the mental health of its members.

Producer, DJ and comedian High Rankin will be joined by panels of guests including Eddy Temple Morris, a board member for CALM and Virgin Radio DJ. Legendary Beatboxer and HipHop artist Killa Kela. Producer and consistent boundary pusher, Dylan Richards. One half of The Freestylers and psychologist Matt Cantor. Live performer and technologist, Tim Exile and more to be announced soon.

The podcast’s aim is to try and lay out some of the problems and propose some possible solutions or at the very least, some tactics to try and mitigate against some of the issues.

We believe with a focus on community, physical health and a quest for meaningful work we can look to improve the lives of individuals and the industry as a whole.
