DJ Cal Jader
Cal Jader is one of the musical activists, founders and original ‘dancehall caballeros’ behind London cultural protagonists Movimientos. With his trademark blend of red hot ‘classico’ latin beats, uptempo carnival rhythms, tropical bass, and fresh global sounds he is helping to soundtrack the thriving underground scene with residencies across the capital.

He’s played at clubs and festivals around the globe as far a field as Mexico City, Beirut, Kuala Lumpar, Istanbul and toured all around Brazil. In the UK he’s played everywhere from countless festivals like Bestival and Glastonbury and The Secret Garden Party, and has shared stages with world class live acts like Manu Chao, Bomba Estereo, Ska Cubano and Calle 13. We figured there was no one more appropriate to kick off our first Global Beats Club launch night!
